Training to identify banknote security features

As part of the fight against counterfeiting in Mexico, Banco de Mexico, through the Directorate General of Currency Issuance, provides training to identify security features in Mexican banknotes for financial institutions, legal authorities, government institutions, and companies that handle large amounts of money. There are two types of training:


Courses are taught by experts from Banco de Mexico. In Mexico City the course is given at Banco de Mexico's facilities whereas in Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Merida, Monterrey and Veracruz, the course can be given at the facilities of the institution requesting the course.

E-learning (available only in Spanish)

This type of training is appropriate for companies that handle large amounts of money such as departmental stores, banks, processing cash companies, foreign exchange offices, and retail chains like drugstores and convenience stores, among others.
